Better Late than never as my...nobody I know says that, being late is….well just late.
None the less January was an interesting month. The Christmas party was fabulous. Special thanks to all those involved. It was also nice to see a couple new faces.
We've been doing our semi-weekly trainer ride at Tony Polemarkis's hanger which has been quite an experience. Something about doing a Spinervals workout next to a bunch of planes...just makes ya feel faster.
Also have met at Tom Walsh's house a couple of times for a longer weekend ride.
Take a look at the calendar for the latest info on ride times.

Good training to all and enjoy the newsletter.

Lotsa good stuff this month. Melissa miller was nice enough to get us a report on the Christmas party. We also have an interesting take on some of those swimming dilema questions you might be running into by Dan Empfield of www. Slowtwitch.

Tony Polemarkis demonstrating the reason we train….so we can eat all this stuff.

What's New(s):

Our last meeting was quite fruitful. We have put plans together for quite a few new idea and events. Most of this edition will be spent explaining what's going on and what's coming up.
Several new things are al

ready in place. We will be having a bi-weekly "Spin class" to take place of our Wednesday night ride. We are finalizing plans on a monthly indoor "long ride" to keep all of us on our bikes over the winter. Our

social committee is putting together a Christmas party and some info about the Rockton tri and a new Duathlon here in town. Read on and hopefully enjoy.         ~Matt
